I've dealt with it myself, first hand. Nearly as annoying as dealing
with a helpdesk. Barely.<br>

three tuners have a trainwreck schedule from 9 to 11
that I don't want to mess up. I set to record World

did not test to see if 8 is also 8. No, wait, 7:30 on
NBC8 - ET. 8 is, in fact, still 8.<br>

Okay perhaps I don't watch Fox? And 13 has been 8 for

10/22 Mindy Project - also Fox.<br>

Sounds like your provider (cable/satellite company) has
shuffled around channels? If so, and if all they only
switched them around (rather than delete some and add some
in different locations), you can just edit the channel name,
call sign, and/or number and (critically) the XMLTV ID in
mythtv-setup, then run a mythfilldatabase --dd-grab-all to
fix it.<br>
