Those Mac Minis were either Core 2s running nVidia graphics, or i3s with several generations newer GMA HD graphics. I doubt anyone bothered trying the older Core units with GMA950 graphics, at least not for HD.<br><br>

<div><br></div><div>At the time, the intel drivers were terrible. One thing I could get to work was sync to vblank. So I always had terrible tearing.</div><div>OpenGL support was crap too and would regularly crash.</div><div>
So I gave up and just around that time, nvidia released vdpau so I got a 9400M based PC.</div><div><br></div><div>I have never tried again running Linux on GMA950 based mini. I now use a nvidia 320M 2010 mini; and it's fantastic. </div>
