I tried HD HR Prime, but everything was copy protected (Copy Once), when I cancelled my account to goto WideOpenWest, and got a call from a product specialist who asked why I cancelled my 12 year old TWC account and told them it was thier stance on copy protection.. Dont know if it makes a difference, but everything is copy freely ( I only have the basic digital/hd package) on WOW, and it works awesome.
While every franchise is "special", in Time Warner
land almost everything is marked Copy Once, with
the (usual) exception of the OTA channels (although
there have been reports on other lists that that is not
always true either).

So, MythTV and QAM/CableCard tuners are of
very limited value in Time Warner land (at best
you can get the OTA channels). Only solutions
that support content encryption (such as TiVo,
WMC, and TWC's own STBs) can record most
content on Time Warner.

The *usual* fallback if one is stuck with TWC
is the HD-PVR using the analogue hole. See
the wiki for details.
That's disappointing.....
But the HD analog capture route does work. I did it for about a year before the Prime came out. A bit clunky what with needing to do either IR blasting or firewire for channel changing. Then you need to rent one cable box for each channel you want to be able to tune at the same time.

But it does work.
