<p dir="ltr">It sounds like mysql is only listening on localhost for connections. An easy fix, but I'm on my phone at the moment</p>

If you newly installed your system, by any chance did your<br>
(new) installation set firewall filters that would (likely by<br>
default) block incoming mysql connections?<br>
