If you were using Mythbuntu packages, I'd tell you to do the following. I'm unsure how the procedure would change on Debian.<br class=""><br>If you are having problems connecting to your mysql database, perform the following to reconfigure it: [1] sudo dpkg-reconfigure mysql-server-5.5 (pay attention to the root password you set, you will need it later) [2] sudo dpkg-reconfigure mythtv-database [3] sudo dpkg-reconfigure mythtv-common</div>
