I believe the Google Play Store allows different versions of the app to be sent to different devices, depending on the device OS version. So you could just have one Google Play Store entry that would send a 2.x-compatible app to 2.x devices, or a 4.x-compatible app to 4.x devices.<br>

</blockquote><div><br></div><div>There is a huge risk to this though... users of the unmaintained 2.x compatible version will see an uncomplete product and may have a poor experience with it and not try it on their 4.x system not realizing that the two are vastly different.</div>
