If it /is/ a sample, then it won't have the correct hostname (used for mysql access) or localhostname (used to identify your host to mythtv). You need to make sure those are the same as for your original setup.<span class=""><font color="#888888"><br>

In any case, that isn't what is causing the issue as it's a database login issue (per the logs you posted). If MySQL up? Can you login to it with the credentials from the config.xml file?</div>
