I had a this issue a few years ago. Crash and no logging.<br>
I enabled remote syslogging so that the log was on another machine, I then found the issue, can't remember what it was but when the OS crashed it did not write to the local log.<br>
<br>
Try remote logging and see if that helps.<br>
I also wrote a cronjob that fired every minute and just wrote to file the date and time so I could see what time it had crashed<br>
