It's a bit of a forgotten feature and still need some love but you can
play CD's without ripping them.
On most music screens Menu->Quick Playlists->From CD then add or replace
the tracks.
You may need to turn on the 'Automatically Lookup CDs' setting on
MythMusic's Player Settings screen.
