<br>So the problem is not with the first attempt to tune after a warm start - the problem is with the first attempt to tune *by Mythbackend* after mythbackend starts, *unless* it immediately follows a cold start.<br></div>

This is causing around half of my recordings to fail at present. Unfortunately I've reached the end of my ability to diagnose, and as a student I'm unable to offer a bounty :-(<br>
