I assume he wants small and quiet. If you are not apposed to used and<br>
are patient, I have bought my last three ZBOX ID11 with ION2 for ~$125<br>
on eBay with memory and storage. I have found that mine are very quiet<br>
when well ventilated, but in a closed cabinet they will get loud and<br>
HOT! I also have five IONITX-C-U frontends in M350 cases in the<br>
bedrooms. They are small and you can't get any quieter than silent!<br>

Agreed! For me the ideal FE is not "small and quiet" but rather "small and silent". Some of my FEs are in cabinets and I have never found a system with a fan that wasn't too loud!<br>

When it comes to silent HD the list of options grows _very_ short, with a couple of fanless IONs being the only things I have found. I was really keen on the CrystalHD stuff, given it would allow a much wider set of fanless motherboards to be used, but sadly never could make it work :(<br>
