All MythTV binary packages are unofficial. The only thing official MythTV offers is source, git or tarball.<br>

Why are you doing this? Surely you're not trying to run your master backend on an RPi. Rather than running network line to where ever the RPi is, why not run transmission line back to the master backend?<br>

Because I can I guess is the answer.</div><div style><br></div><div style>Its a pain to get the satellite feed back to the master backend so I figured if I can run it as a slave backend then I can use it to watch the occasional satellite feed. I have run tvheadend on the pi and can watch the satellite channels via xbmc and the tvh plugin so I know it has the capacity to do it. Now what I really want is MythTV's scheduling and recording </div>
