You must use EIT for these.</div><div><br></div><div>RT supplies more comprehensive episode/total numbers than EIT - BBC's pretty good but some other channels (Dave, Ch 5 ?) don't put any in their EIT. RT also supplies season numbers.</div><div><br></div><div>RT subtitles are more reliable - EIT subtitles are parsed from the description and sometimes fail.</div><div><br></div><div>I don't believe RT schedules ever get updated (or whether mythfilldatabase will pick up any updates). With EIT your program/series ids will be crid's (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_Reference_Identifier">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_Reference_Identifier</a>), allocated by the broadcaster. Your recording history *should* therefore be compatible with iPlayer/future developments. </div><div>RT doesn't provide program/series ids so Myth generates its own from the programme title (IIRC): I suspect this is less reliable as titles often vary subtly across seasons/channels. You are also dependent on RT continuing to supply data (for free). </div><div>If you switch between them then your recording history becomes invalid and Myth will re-record programmes/episodes that you've already watched!</div><div><br></div><div>So I recommend choosing one and sticking with it!<br></div></body></html>
