<div dir="ltr">Hmm, thanks to Jay for the free legwork and informed perspective and thanks to Paul for pointing out I was looking at the wrong information. I was going by the MythZoneMinder page in the wiki (<a href="http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/MythZoneMinder">http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/MythZoneMinder</a>) that states the shared is still required. <div>
<br></div><div style>I posted a similar inquiry in the ZoneMinder forums at <a href="http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=20861">http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=20861</a> but have gotten no reply. I will do a bit more research as time allows and then try to capture some updates to the wiki page. </div>

</div>It is core code, and I find from some quick research that there's been<br>
a great lull in development over there that apparently just missed a<br>
fork this hour; the core developer was tracked down and turns out he's<br>
wrapping up a 2.0 release for Very Soon Now. More details likely<br>
to follow in the next.. day or 3?<br>
