<p>While that is an effort to try, and I will attempt it, why do the logs indicate an issue with the IP and not with the device file? If that is all that is missing or problematic, I might yet get this working. Thanks a bunch.</p>

Well, there's your problems. Your device is at /dev/ctn91xx_mpeg0_0.<br>
I'm not sure if it's an OS issue or a change in the newer drivers, but<br>
the device used to be at /dev/ceton/ctn91xx_mpeg0_0, and that's where<br>
myth is looking. You can try to recreate the proper devices or symlink<br>
it, but honestly your best bet is probably to switch to RTP. In the<br>
mythtv-setup, change the card number from "0" to "RTP".<br>
