<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div style>I have been googling but to no avail so far.</div><div style><br></div><div style>I have my frontend setup to perform a scan when I enter "Video Library" (0.25+fixes on mythbuntu) and this works like it should. A scan is performed and then a background process runs to look up the metadata.</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>The problem is, my frontend is an Atom/ION motherboard and I get jerky playback while the lookup is happening in the background. I have now turned this off for this reason.</div><div style>
<br></div><div style>I want to move the process to the backend server where there is plenty of grunt. So from cron, I can perform a nice /usr/bin/mythutil -q --scanvideos every hour to pick up new content. </div><div style>
<br></div><div style>What I can't figure out is how to perform a metadata lookup after the scan. </div><div style><br></div><div style>What should I be looking for?</div><div style><br></div><div style>Many thanks</div>
