<div dir="ltr"><div>Yes, don't get me started on the switch to systemd in Arch!! It took me forever to sort it out. Fortunately, I only use Arch on a few low-power machines (including my RaspberryPi) that aren't critical. I agree that rolling releases have their good points -- and I certainly love Arch, if only because I have learned more about Linux from it than from almost any other source -- but I wouldn't use it on a mission-critical piece of hardware.<br>

I like avoiding having to reinstall my os. I run xen on arch and pbx an other mythtv. So far biggest changes was switching to systemd from init but init was still supported.<br>

I am looking at updating my backend, made necessary by the fact that it is mythbuntu 10.04 (no myth 0.26 packages).<br><br>I really hate this 2 yearly cycle of updating ubuntu distros, even on LTS. I thought maybe a rolling release like Arch would alleviate me from having to do that. <br>
