I'm not sure exactly when it started happening but after an update<br>
sometime around (I think) late November MythVideo stopped being able<br>
to play avi files. iso and mkv files seem to be fine, it's just avi<br>

Which suggests that it at least tries to start playing but immediately<br>
exits again. The avi files are in the same storage group and have the<br>
same permissions as the mkv files that do play, and they play fine<br>
with an external player (which is how I've been getting around this)<br>
but it would be nice to find out what the problem might be and fix it<br>
if at all possible. This is a pretty stock mythbuntu 12.04.1 install,<br>
Mythtv version v0.26.0-70-gff4edc7 (current 0.26/fixes branch of<br>
mythbuntu).<br>
