Ubuntu 12.04 (and by extension, Mythbuntu). Maybe I'm missing the
explanation of why Mythtv 0.24 worked just fine (per folks who roll back),
and Mythtv 0.25 doesn't, when the problem is described as a conflict of
interest between the kernel shipping with Ubuntu 12.04 and the libraries for
the hdhomerun (libmythhdhomerun). I'd appreciate any explanation that
someone wants to offer, though I know I'm not entitled to one and my request
can easily be ignored without dire consequences ;).
Also interesting to note in my case, the bad recordings only seem to happen
on one of my channels, and only with recorded programs. Myth and HD config
GUI can tune just fine to this channel and watch LiveTV without issue.
Recordings get pixelated, blocky, "autotuned" sound issues, and rarely
complete the full recording.

For those of us who are not kernel hackers, is there any way to correct this
rbuf_max issue without rolling our own kernel?
