</div>I'm guessing this is a dual frontend/backend machine.<br>

You need to run mythtv-setup and configure your backend to listen to<br>
external interface, not just local ones.<br>

The Frontend is what is connected to my TV. <br><br>When you say have the backend listen to external interface (under mythtv-setup) - where is this? It does have the IP address under "General" (instead of 127.0.0.1)</div>
