</div>I had the same problem with MX Player on a HTC Sensation icecream...<br>

I solved it by unselecting the "Use H/W decoder" (only the first box) under Settings/Decoder. Now recordings stream ok. AND, there is a "HW" on the app top, which I think means it uses h/w decoding(!).<br>
