Hello, I am trying to configure the suspend of the frontend from a MCE remote.

I want to suspend the frontend and switch off the TV, I think I have
two options for the TV switch OFF:

- irsend with TV power key maping
- CEC from HDMI

Here's another idea: If you use a learning remote, teach it the OFF keypress for your TV, and use this for the suspend action on the PC as well. That way, whenever anyone turns off the TV, the PC suspends.

I don't recommend this. The problem is when the ir doesn't get picked up by one device and the two devices get 'out of sync'. (computer suspended while TV is on).
