<p>It uses the services API which requires no direct database access. Then recordings are streamed using http live streaming.</p>

Just installed the MythTV Android frontend, but I can't make it connect. I'm a bit bewildered - it does not need a database name and password - ok, that means it does not connect to the database, then? I'm running 0.25 backend (ubuntu 12.04) - should I do something on the backend to allow it to connect? I've read the documenation on github but it does not make me wiser.<br>
