<p>I had something similar, I had to uncheck the dolby and dts settings in audio setup, even though things played fine in audio testing section as well as the myth setup wizard in .25. <br>
Try fiddling with those. </p>

For some reason, I'm getting no audio through my new MythTV system.<br>

I'm having some tuning difficulties relating to my USB tuner, but that can't really be the cause, as videos files playing through MythTV are silent too.<br>

Sound is working on the system. If I exit MythTV and go online, I can watch a YouTube vid and hear the sound.<br>

Also, within MythTV, if I go to the sound setup section, I can hear that 'interference' type sound to test my audio setup.<br>
<br>
I still can't hear anything on playback though.<br>
