I have done this exact setup. No problems at all.<br>
It simply showed up as a hauppauge device in the ESXi pass through gui.<br>

<div><font face="times new roman">Either you don't have an HDPVR (USB connected), or you mean allocating a USB device to a guest. Real passthrough doesn't show USB devices...</font></div>
