<p>Confusing thing here is why Myth offers (ALSA:hdmi:CARD=NVidia,DEV=1) as output device option which is different from aplay -l output? Shouldn't it be DEV=3 as I said before?<br>
Maybe the output of aplay -L would be useful too.<br>

I think you can safely ignore whatever Igor has suggested, none of his<br>
suggestions make any sense, and even less so with any modern linux<br>
distributions<br>
