You could watch myth TV using torch for IOS, and pair the Bluetooth device with the tablet a long as they are presented as Bluetooth head phones I presume.

So, options are:

add a Bluetooth dongle to your myth frontend and use pulse audio sound server to output to both speakers and the Bluetooth device.whatever is playing on your main TV through myth TV would be able to be listened to on the hearing aid and by others on the room on normal speakers.

option 2, use a tablet but the audio would be whatever is playing on the tablet.

Hope that helps

please excuse brevity and pistakes as this email was composed on a phone.

My father has hearing aids which are bluetooth capable and I would
like to get him a tablet that can output the sound through bluetooth
and the internal speakers or other external speakers. Can myth
frontend do this?

Do you have any recommendations for tablets that include bluetooth?
Thanks,
If they are bluetoother speakers there is no reason you couldn't pair the hearing aids to your frontend and configure Myth to output to both the TV and hearing aids. You may need to use Pulse Audio but never tried this before.

Now on tablets I am pretty sure any table would connect but MythFrontend would not play through it.

Mitchell
