<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:verdana, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10pt">FYI, if any of you hit a problem w/ an older 0.25 install (from the daily builds, non-official, guinea pig release) backend restarting like crazy and the frontend not displaying the tuner lock percentage when it shows live TV, you probably need a reinstall. Do "apt-get remove mysql*" to blow away mysql which will also take out your mythtv backend, then use the mythbuntu control center to set the role of the system to primary backend and frontend. There's probably a better way to this, but it worked for me :-)<br><br>And thanks to William Otten and Doug Vaughan for the compiz settings workaround to disable the top status bar in Unity. I still think it's a bug in Unity if they need this workaround hack to get it to sort of work w/ fullscreen apps. There really should be a setting to autohide it :-P<br><br>And not
sure if they MythBuntu developers are listening, but when installing themes, there really should be a progress bar and a way to cancel it. I've been sitting here watching the Graphite template download for over half an hour...no way to cancel it...no progress to tell how long it's going to take.
