to set recording parameters are accessable via a front-end menu.<br>

</div>It's possible that when you do a manual recording, the default profile is<br>
different to the one that you 'chose' (defaulted, really) when you set up your<br>
scheduled recording.<br>

What do you mean when you say "recording via the EPG?" A scheduled recording is<br>
a scheduled recording, wherever you set it up from. I find that it is easier to<br>
set all mine via mythweb, personal preferences vary. Are you just making<br>
"one-off" recordings via different methods?<br>
