I need this as I have a app that i use to make keyword searches within in the subs. Is it possible to cut that feature from that script and place in mythccextractor?<br>

</div>MYTHccextractor, not ccextractor. It's a utility built into MythTV,<br>
using MythTV's internal subtitle support. If they are text format<br>
subtitles, and MythTV can display them, that utility should be able to<br>
extract them to a subrip file.<br>
