It has a 720P display. Most of the other TVs in our house are also 720P, so I just convert most everything to that or less. It also saves a lot of space. Finally, the Transformer only wants to see MPEG4 and ACC stereo. The trick was finding ffmpeg parameters to create files that will play on MythTV, WDTV and the Transformer. MythTV and WDTV can use 5.1 audio, so I make that a secondary stream. The Transformer comes with a MyNet uPNP/DLNA app that plays direct from MythTV. The Transformer can also VPN into hour home network and play any low bandwidth recording. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>Some recordings I know I’ll only play live or on the big screen with 5.1, so no conversion needed. Others, the quality is not that important and may play remotely, so they convert to low bandwidth.
