when the stock dvdplayer is running it halts it, nfs mounts a specified directory with the 3rd party player on, mounts the myth recordings file system - I have not been able to get playback through a socket without stuttering - then launches a window that
can select recordings, view epg, schedule recordings etc. If you select a recording you can play with comm skipping on or off. When done repress power and the box reboots back to the stock dvdplayer app. It is based upon the 1.1.0 mms media player and runs
on all rtd1073 based media players.
