i'm running mythbuntu 11.04 x64 as my lan server - it does the myth BE<br>

the polkitd process is filling up the available ram over the space of<br>
4-5 days, making the entire server come to a grinding halt untill i<br>
can kill it (sudo killall polkitd).<br>

a google search sugests that it's the pulse audio system causing<br>
issues; specifically something in the ~\.pulse\ location. but from<br>
what i can work out, my mythbuntu install does not have pulse<br>
installed.<br>

when i kill polkitd, it will disappear for a short while and then<br>
return to consume all the available ram.<br>
<br>
so, i'm at a loss. my linux skills are fairly weak so i don't know how<br>
to work out whats going on.<br>
