Looks like I found a workaround:
found this experimental driver, that makes the hdhomerun work like a
normal dvb device:
I am testing that solution right now, and it looks like this is

me.
have a problem with EIT on my HDhomerun tuner.

I have a combined FE/BE running Mythbuntu 11.10 Mythtv 0.24.1.

The box has two PCI tuner cards, and a dual tuner HDhomerun box.

Due to the different methode of tuning I have configured two
different

video sources, one for the two PCI tuner cards, and one for the
hdhomerun

tuners.

The problem is, that if I enable EIT scan on the video source for

I get my backend log filled with messages like this:

I have tried to rescan the channels several times, with no change
to this problem,
EIT Scan works fine from my two PCI card tuners. All tuners are
connected to the
same DVB-C source (Danish cable provider "YouSee").

So I cen get rid of the errors by disabling the EIT scan on the
hdhomerun
tuners; but that gives me a different problem.

If I do not have EIT scan on the HDhomerun, and select to record 3
programs
that overlap, I get conflicts, mythtv will simply not select the
hdhomerun tuner,
unless I schedule a manual recording, without using the program
guide.

Are there a way, to tell mythtv, that EIT data received from one
video source,
is also valid for the other source, or are there a way get rid of
these errors
from the hdhomerun tuners.

I have read somewhere, that this could be a problem caused by the
data sent by the
cable provider; but as it only happens on the hdhomerun tuners,
that does not sound
like the case in my setup.
