hi,<br>
I have been using mythtv for a few years now ... noticed commercials
detection got worse with the .24 version ...<br>
<br>
But for recording OTA it was about 85% accurate ... now with digital
OTA in Canada I think it's going to be better.<br>
<br>
Note: Works fine except for the 30-60 sec endings with most tv
shows.<br>

UK, i get both DVB-S2 and DVB-T signals. i havent
recorded/noted enough programs to see if it's related to
certain DVB-x signal though.<br>

reading through the other replies, i suspected it was
something todo with the broadcaster not sending reliable
comm-skip data.<br>
