i&#39;m on a fairly recent 0.24 release (updated around 2 weeks ago), and for a while i&#39;ve seen commercial skipping not as reliable as i remember it to be.<br><br>basically, mythtv seem to miss the first program-start flag (have to manually fast forward to the start of the program) and the middle advert break detection seems to work 90% of the time. some channels seem worse than others.<br>
<br>i have advert detection using all available methods, and is set to &#39;notify, no skip&#39;, so i have to manually skip the breaks.<br><br>is this  typical behaviour, or do i need to investigate further?<br><br>
