I have a working mythtv install on an ubuntu box for about 18 months<br>
now. Suddenly, for the past week or so, there is no sound from live TV<br>
or recordings. The box does have working sound as other applications<br>
like vlc player etc are ok.<br>

I have a 3 year old and he cud have messed up the settings. I have tried<br>
various permutations but I am unable to restore.<br>
