Although I think the changes to LIRC will ultimately be very beneficial, I'm currently stumped on what is breaking my current setup. I have a PVR-250 with Black remote that had been working flawlessly and recently added an IR Blaster to control a Verizon FIOS DCT-700 cable box. (That also was working flawlessly under Fedora 12)

Can anyone point out what specific steps need to be taken to make this setup operational again? I've included as much detailed configuration information as possible below...

Many thanks...

Jim Cornacchia

bash-4.1# ir-keytable
Found /sys/class/rc/rc0/ (/dev/input/event4) with:
        Driver ir-kbd-i2c, table rc-rc5-tv
        Supported protocols: RC-5
        Enabled protocols:
Repeat delay = 500 ms, repeat period = 33 ms

bash-4.1# lsmod | grep lirc_
ir_lirc_codec 3712 0
rc_core 14291 9 ir_lirc_codec,ir_sony_decoder,ir_jvc_decoder,ir_rc6_decoder,ir_rc5_decoder,rc_rc5_tv,ir_nec_decoder,ir_kbd_i2c
lirc_serial 8326 0
lirc_dev 12896 2 ir_lirc_codec,lirc_serial

bash-4.1# ls -l /dev/lirc*
crw------- 1 root root 250, 0 Aug 10 12:14 /dev/lirc0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Aug 10 12:15 /dev/lircd -> /var/run/lirc/lircd
srw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0 Aug 10 12:15 /dev/lircd1

bash-4.1# ps ax | grep lirc
2341 ?
