
<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;font-size:12pt"><div>i've just added a second mythtv pc; FE only, to my existing FE/BE setup that would suspend when left idle.</div><div>however, now when the FE-only machine shuts down (initiating 'shutdown' from the menu in mythfrontend) the BE still seems to think the FE-only machine is still connected.</div><div><br></div><div>restarting the 'mythbackend' process seens to clear the lock, but thats not very convenient!</div><div><br></div><div>i've been through mythtv-setup on the BE, and confirmed things are setup ok; everything points to the LAN IP of the BE (rather than 127.0.0.1), and the shutdown schedule is also setup the way i left it.</div><div>other than this issue, everything appears to be working fine!</div><div><br></div><div>thanks for any help<br></div></div></body></html>
