I pre-ordered a tri-tuner HDHR Prime and hope to receive it soon. I was reading another thread today about scanning with the HDHR Classic and was reminded of what a nightmare it is for me whenever I try to add my Classic back into the tuner mix - It's a full afternoon of editing channel numbers, XML IDs and channel IDs, only to have them be a mess 2 months later when Charter decides to shuffle everything around.<br>
<br>I read some of the threads about the Primes and had a nightmarish thought - What if I have to manually enter the information for all my cable channels? It would take me a week and I'm sure I'd break it multiple times along the way. <br>
<br>I probably just missed this answer, but since the Prime has a CableCard, is the logic built into the card to know which channel is which, and tell the Myth channel scanner appropriately? Because if not, I may just cancel my pre-order and stick with my HD-PVR. (I hope that's not the case!)<br>
