good advice, but if you don't play (and break!) you don't learn!<br>... or atleast I don't.<br><br>command worked fine. SQL is something i do want to learn for professional reasons so learning on a non-critical platform would be good.<br>

Performing manual SQL changes is _not_ easy. While the syntax itself<br>
for most tasks is not difficult, the fact that the MySQL server cannot<br>
provide any meaningful documentation on the schema means you are just<br>
blindly guessing at what things do based off their name, and subjecting<br>
yourself to a whole minefield of unintended consequences. If your first<br>
instinct is to ask on the mailing list what SQL to use, don't.<br>
