cannot seem to disable my ipv6 after some googling. I'm using

I don't use Debian,but if it's simiular to Ubuntu,you can right
click on network connection icon on the task bar,then click
edit,then choose IPv6 Settings,then under Method choose Ignore...
That should disable IPv6..<br>
