Hello All,<br><br>My MythTV install has been running well for a few years now with one exception. I can't get EIT scanning/updating to work for one particular channel.<br><br>All other channels have their data updated via EIT with no problems. It wouldn't be such a problem except for the fact that this channel doesn't have an external source of guide data other than the over the air EIT data. (all other channels have data updated via an external scraper that creates an xmltv file that mythfilldatabase can use)<br>
<br>Channels have been entered into MythTV using the built in channel scanning functions. The channel has correct NetworkID and TransportID in the dtv_multiplex table and correct ServiceID in the channels table. The channel tunes fine and manual recording schedules work fine.<br>
<br>EIT data is present in the stream, below is a dvbsnoop dump whilst MythTV was tuned to the channel and info from mythbackend.log as the EIT scanner commenced scanning for the channel. EPG data appears when using the television tuner, so it is something MythTV specific.<br>
<br>The channel in question is C31 in Melbourne, Australia - a community TV channel, it normally appears on DVB-T Channel 44.<br><br>When tuned to channel 44 during the EIT scan no "EITHelper: Added ## events" or "EITScanner (13): Added ### EIT Events" type events appear in the log.<br>
<br>Can anyone suggest how to track down why the EIT data for this particular channel is not being added?<br><br>Adding siparser and eit logging to mythbackend haven't revealed anything spectacular so far.<br><br><br>
