Drives and MythTV<br></font><br>
<meta http-equiv="x-dns-prefetch-control" content="off"><div>Looking for help from those using Blu-Ray drives:</div><div><br></div>I have upgraded my BE with a new MB which has no IDE ports; therefore, my DVD ROM/burner is no longer of any use. I am considering replacing it with a Blu-Ray burner but am hesitant to spend the extra dollars if I can only use it for DVDs. I know there has been a lot of activity in 0.24 and pre-0.25 to support BD but my question is:<div>
<br></div><div>Will I be able to play rented Blu-Ray disks through MythTV?</div><div><br></div><div>If not, (besides backups) what benefit would I receive by spending the extra money on a BD burner vs a DVD burner?</div><div>
