</div>BTW, check your bill. For me they just raised that (charge for a cable<br>
card) to $6.00 US and added a mysterious cable modem rental charge of<br>
$7 to my bill even though I purchased my own modem in 2004. I have<br>
call and get that one fixed soon..<br>

I contacted Charter this morning and was told that CableCard rentals were still $2 per month "with a professional installation". I almost want to try and get one now before they smarten up and raise prices (not sure if I'd get grandfathered in or not). <br>
