<font color="#888888">Jarod,<br><br>It looks like the lirc drivers are now automatically configured so as not to need all this set up.<br><br>In Synaptic, under lirc-modules-source, it says that package is not needed anymore.<br>
<br>I happened to run an upgrade, rebooted, and automagically my remote is now working!<br><br>Looks like this change just happened today.<br><br>Thanks for your help.<br><br>-- <br>Dave M G<br></font>
