Hey guys<div><br></div><div>thanks for the help. I did indeed manage to get it set up and running. It seemed there was perhaps a problem with the database.</div><div><br></div><div>Also, I think I was getting confused by the UI on the scanning screen.</div>
<div>In my book - "100%" means "finished"... however it kept on scanning for a few more minutes after the "scanning progress" bar reached 100%, and then eventually the "new channels found" popup appeared. When it had reached 100%, and then paused for a bit, I had assumed it was complete, and had been hitting "next" or "finish" or whatever the terminology is on the button at the foot of that screen, which obviously then jumped me out of the scan.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Special thanks to a certain list member who also let me call him and troubleshoot the database issues last night. Very very helpful and kind of him to do so.</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers to all!</div>

Using exactly that card ( with one LNB pointed at Freesat) Only tricky
non-standard bit was having to compile th edrivers yourself, which you
say you have running. After that all was the same as any scan and save.
If you get to the end of a scan, it should pop up and say " no new
channels found" or "X new channels found" and ask you if you want to
save them. If you are not getting that there is somthing far wrong.Daft
question, but you are scanning the right ports are you ? I have mine
set up with 3 LNBs, one direct and one through a diseqc switch, so
there are many options to scan the wrong card port/ wrong diseqc port
etc. <br>
