I've had issues with mythcommflag and certain HD-PVR recordings.
mythbackend --version
Please attach all output as a file in bug reports.
MythTV Version : v0.24-189-ge0a7720
MythTV Branch : fixes/0.24

I monitor my hard disks for iostat utilization and it showed my SSD disk 99% IO utilization. /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log was constantly streaming this error (roughly three AFD errors per second):
2011-03-11 09:30:52.002 AFD Error: Unknown decoding error

Mythcommflag ran for almost 12 hours NOT processing a file but it never gave up. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Has mythcommflag been altered in development to handle these problems more cleanly or should I open a Trac Bug?
