Would a USB external drive connected to backend work? I just dont' get why recordings to the USB on the slave doesn't work. Why would it create a file, size 0 and not add any information to it.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

I recently got a 1.5TB drive for $60.00. Figured it would be nice to store all my movies on, as the 500gb drive I had dedicated to it is about 70% full. So I attached it to the Acer Revo machine in my living room and shared it with samba. I have it mounted on both mythtv machines along with my laptop. So I added it as a storage group on the backend. However, if it tries to record to it, it just creates a file 0 size. I know it has read/write permisions cause i can nano test write and save that file.<div>
