<p>Mythtv is also set and forget... probably more so than mce cause it will likely crash less often. Once it is up and running it is only that you have the option to fiddle and keep it up to date and add funtionality and extend it with mythtomer, mediatomb, datamining and transocding... but at least you have these options.</p>

<p>I say again, once it is up and running dont update the linux boxes running myth and everything is stable it only gets needs tweaking to get things back to how you set it if you update it...</p>
